We created the graphic shapes for Shadow Puppet Mirror frames by casting hand shadows. An ancient form of expression, shadowgraphy was popularized in France in the late 19th century by Felicien Trewey. Shadowgraphy declined in popularity when electricity became available and candlelight usage declined.
