Designed for the 2008 Celebrate Michigan Design event, this poster features an excerpt from "Agents of Change," a fictitious book highlighting Michigan design.

Typographically, the wire forms reference Henry Ford's historical model for auto production. Linear wires are reconfigured into the words "Re Work, Re Use, Re Energize," etc., positioning designers as agents of change in reinvigorating the region's future.

The piece also joins an international dialog that recognizes strategic reclamation, designer engagement and the socioeconomic significance of design. "Agents of Change" sketches out a vision for an inspired and energized future for all designers. Self-Organization is an ideological position and a conceptual design collective.
